Webcomic Reviews
Let us have some rules, shall we?
  • Please no self-reviews. It is ethically not cool. "I write this. Read it now! I'm cool!"
  • If your post provides no depth and is a pure rating, it might be quitely removed. "This rocks!"
  • Unconstructive flaming will not be tolerated. "This sucks!"
  • No Summary reviews. It is impossible to qualitatively average summaries. "Buzzcomix gives it a 4! TWC gives it a 4 1/2!"

Richard FTW! Full of geeky references, the characters seem to try to be serious, but the hilarious comments of Richard the undead warlock undermine them (in a good way). Supurbly drawn, I have found the plot a little confusing but read it anyway for the Richard comments.

A WoW-based webcomic that follows the epic quest of a group of less-than-good adventurers caught up in something bigger than they'd expect. Action, drama, and a bit of gorish humor makes this a comic worth reading.

Looking for Group! The contrast of the main characters is wonderful, with their all too happy and Lawful Good elf and their all too Chaotic Evil, and quite iconic, Richard. Yes, Richard. Just what you've always wanted. Unlike some stories, this one follows a plotline while still managing to bring out the laughs and the funny, and though it seems to be set in some sort of gamer/MMO parody universe, it doesn't make this the main point of the story. The point of the story is your group of less-than-normal adventurers, most certainly not good people, on their quest. It's written with a lot of wit and the story looks good, too. Though it seems to be telling a serious story, it's sprinkled with enough humor to make it a barrel of laughs along the way. Looking for Group is an iconic fantasy tale and well worth the read if you enjoyed others like 8-Bit Theatre, for example. It's funny, colorful, and dramatic fantasy. What more could you ask for? Well, Richard, but we didn't ask for him. FOR PONY!
