On Writing: Characters. It begins and ends there for me. Amanda has created a small, core group of characters with real strength as people. Brio, especially, shines with depth. His flaws as a boyfriend and as a person as well as his awareness of his own flaws make him compelling. Pacing works well, too. The storyline flows well from page to page, especially when you get away from the establishing first comics. The place she most needs improvement is in dialogue. Amanda needs to work on establishing different voices for her characters. Subtle ways of speaking that makes each different from the next.
On Art: Amanda won't be illustrating for the big two anytime soon, but her art has come a long way since she began. It does a good job of showing you what she wants. I think she's ready to move onto working on shading, giving more depth to her art.
On Website: The layout's very simple. It looks rather like most DrunkDuck style sites, though with actual sections for cast and links. She needs to move to the next level, creating a more professional looking website.
Overall: Salt the Holly is a fun comic. It has grown a lot since it was born and will continue to grow. The love triangle with Cade, Brio, and Daisy, especially, will keep readers enthralled. Oh.... don't try to figure out who Holly is. She's not in the comic. And she doesn't have salt.
